Sims 4 mccc game time speed9/28/2023 ![]() These require mods tho cause I love mods and I have so many it’s not even funny. Since they’re all gonna live longer and gain skills slower, I felt it made sense for it to take longer to craft items such as paintings, songs, books, etc (cause Lux writes best sellers almost daily like it ain’t nothing which makes absolutely no sense) so of course we have to fix that. So I was just curious to see if I would like my sims having more time in a day since I always feel like the day is rushed cause it goes by so fast so I made changes here too (also in MCCC Settings): (thanks for the idea Game Time Speed - 50, default was 25 (so this would make the day last twice as long) ![]() Skill Difficulty Adjustment - (-4), default was 0.I like for my sims to have goals to reach but it can get kinda boring when they can max out their cooking skill in one sim week or their writing skill in 2 (Lux did both of these so I’m definitely gonna scale her back a bit) so I made changes (also in MCCC Settings): ![]() I don’t want their friendships and stuff decaying too quickly especially since they’ll all be around longer so I made changes to that too (also in MCCC Settings): *pregnancies are still set to 6 days but I may change that later on if it doesn’t fit right. So my new aging settings are (MCCC Settings > Set Age Span Duration): My goal is for each life state (toddler - teen) is to experience each season at least once and for my YAs and adults to be around long enough to live life and then start a family and for my elders to be around to meet and have relationships with their grandkids. I haven’t actually played with these new settings yet tho so I’ll report back when I do. Now y’all know how much I love Lux and Dre and now Little Miss Lady Dai, so I don’t want life for them (or any of my other sims) to go by too quickly so I made a whole bunch of changes in MCCC that I think will work perfectly for me. So I think I’ve figured it out and decided to share with y’all in case anyone likes to play the way I do (with one gen forever). Sim ages, seasons and asked a question, the other day, about how people set up aging and everything with Seasons which reminded me that I needed to figure that out cause I really want to turn aging back on and see the rest of my legacy family and neighborhoods grow and change and everything (it’s one of the things I love about gameplay).
